Dosage:

The below is a general maintenance guideline based on 100mg of combined EPA and DHA per 5kg of dogs weight of 100mg. Depending on the condition, severity and age of the dog this number may need to be adjusted. Consider other sources of Omega-3 fatty acids your dog might be consuming when calculating their daily needs such as their meals. There is no golden number, results will vary.

Gummy weight can vary Most are around 3 – 3.7g and average around 3.5g. Each 3.5g Omega Pet Gummy contains approximately 100mg of combined EPA and DHA

Pets up to 5kg = 1 Omega Pet Gummy per day.
Increase by 1 gummy per 5kg or part of after.
Example: 12kg Dog = 3 Omega Pet Gummies per day.

Omega 3 & 6 Plus 9 is an essential fatty acid (EFA) dietary supplement that provides the appropriate ratio of omega 3, 6 and 9 necessary to promote a healthy coat and skin. A deficiency of EFA is a frequent cause of lustreless coat.

Why does your pet need omega 3, 6 and 9? If there is too much omega 6 in the diet, it will suppress the absorption of omega 3. Omega 9 oils, however, will dilute the omega 6, and thereby limit the effects of excessive inflammatory responses whilst restoring the ratio of omega 3 to omega 6. You need all 3 omega oils to be effective.

Dosage: 1mL per 7kg bodyweight per day, or as directed by your veterinarian, to be administered orally.

There is no set recommendation for Abalone and you may find a dosage that works below or above these levels. Speaking to a Vet with nutritional experience is encouraged. It can also depend on if it’s just for general well-being or to help a condition and if it’s at the initial or maintenance stage. Each dog may also respond differently.

Generally, a good start is 2-5g for small dogs up to 10kg, 5-10g for 15-30kg, and 10-20g for larger, daily. Start at the lower end and increase over time if you feel it is necessary and until you see results. Once you see results continue as is but after some time of stability you can try slowly reducing to a maintenance level.
