KONG Classic Red

One dog loves his Kong and takes it everywhere, the other ignores it. Unlike the original Kongs the rubber does not last as long and crazes.

I loved the concept of the Kong but it hasn’t been a great success in our house. Our 8 year old Bichon lost interest after the first try. Our 6 year old Bichon is a bit more interested but both being indoor dogs it becomes a bit messy with frozen treats. Any other food was out in minutes except for Peanut Butter but I don’t want that to become a staple in their treats.
I do think it’s a great idea for the right dog. You won’t know until you give it a try and I’m not giving up on it yet.

Our Jack Russell loves chewing this and using it for fetch alone or with a friend. We have frozen bananas and blueberries inside as a treat whilst we are at work. highly recommended.

An excellent product keeps Tippy occupied with her favourite treat sealed inside would not be without them especially frozen on hot days. Lorraine

A really versatile toy - a real favourite, especially when sealed with peanut butter!

Our large Golden retriever puppy loves this toy! I fill it with dry dog food and peanut butter and it keeps her entertained when we can't be with her! She also loves it when the kids bounce it off the ground and little treats come out - everyone is happy!

My Border Terriers demolish most toys within 10 minutes. So far, my Kong purchase is still "whole" more than a week after purchase.

Unfortunately - you cannot teach an old dog new tricks. For young dogs -excellent idea, however my 10 y/o would rather I roll it for him and get the lollies out. He used it for about 2 minutes then gave up :( even used his favourite treats, chicken, schmakos etc- no luck.

Doesn't take our dogs long to empty, but certainly stops them from gulping down their food

another staffie proof toy but it doesn't keep them occupied for to long when you put food in it though

The dogs love to worry away at their Kongs and prefer it to a bowl of food. I throw one out in the morning full of chicken and rice and it's gone by the time I get home.

I have a stock of these for my 2 dogs. I mix a little dry dog food, vegies & mash potato and freeze which slows down the rate they can empty them. Great for the tropics.

An oldie but a goodie! I'm getting back into filling the Kong with goodies and freezing it with the warmer weather - keeps the dogs cool and occupied for ages!
