Our 18 year old burmese cat was diagnosed with chronic Kidney disease 7 weeks ago and has been eating the special Royal Canin renal diet since then. In that time, he has gained a little weight and is enjoying his meals. His overall condition has improved. Yes, it is expensive but is so worth the results!
We are now managing chronic kidney disease in a 16 year old Burmese. This food is expensive, but seems to be doing the trick, over the last 9 months his potassium levels have stabilised, and he likes the food.
