***LASTS UP TO 16 WEEKS***
Equest Plus Tape wormer for horses controls tapeworm in addition to all the other major gastrointestinal worms and bots.āØ
Equest Plus Tape is the only horse wormer that is long acting: re-treatment is recommended after 14-16 weeks compared to after 6-8 weeks with other wormers. This means fewer treatments per year and twice the time that pastures are left free of worm eggs.āØāØ
Equest Plus Tape is also the only horse wormer to have a registered claim to control encysted small strongyles in a single dose. Small strongyle worms hibernate or encyst in the lining of the horses gut and can cause colic. While other horse wormers kill the small strongyle worms that are in the gut itself, Equest Plus Tape is the only wormer with a registered claim to also kill the encysted forms. This means that the life cycle is blocked at a much earlier stage and that no small strongyle worms can re-emerge and mature in the horses gut straight after worming.āØāØ
Equest Plus Tape is a unique gel formulation that dissolves rapidly on the tongue. The dial up syringe is designed with a narrow barrel to allow easy access into the side of the horses mouth and deliver the right dose every time.āØ
Equest Plus Tape is safe for pregnant mares and breeding stallions as well as foal over 4 weeks of age.āØāØ
Active Constituents:Ā Moxidectin 20mg/ml, Praziquantel 125mg/mL.āØāØ
Contents:Ā Ā 14.4g netĀ (Sufficient to treat a horse of 700kg)āØāØ
Broad Spectrum:āØ
Equest Plus Tape long acting horse wormer and boticide gel is the only horse wormer to control tapeworm and all important gastrointestinal roundworms, including adult and encysted stages (DL, LL3, EL4) and benzimidazole resistant strains of small strongyles, and aids in control of early encysted stages (EL3), including inhibited larvae (greater than 90% effective).Ā Protects for 14 -16 weeks.āØāØ
Parasite Control Programs:āØ
All horses should have a regular parasite control program. Regular treatment will reduce the risk of diseases due to small and large strongyles such as colic and verminous arteritis. Reinfection of horses with worms is common and treatment must be repeated routinely to ensure effective control. The unique long term activity of Equest Plus Tape long acting horse wormer & boticide gel against worms, including encysted small strongyles, is particularly useful in reducing the required dosing frequency in strategic parasite control programs. Retreatment intervals for the control of small strongyles can be extended for 14 to 16 weeks. Consult your veterinarian for advice on faecal egg count interpretation and the appropriate program for your specific needs.āØāØ
Indications:
Equest Plus Tape contains the active ingredient moxidectin, a second generation macrocyclic lactone, and praziquantel, a synthetic isoquinoline-pyrazine derivative. Equest Plus Tape is palatable and effective for the treatment and control of:
- Tapeworm:Ā Anoplocephala perfoliataĀ andĀ Paranoplocephala mamillana.
- Large Strongyles:Ā Strongylus vulgarisĀ (adults, L3 and L4 arterial stages),Ā Strongylus edentatusĀ (adults and L4 visceral larval stages),Ā Strongylus equinusĀ (adults),Ā Tridontophorus spp. (adults) includingĀ T. brevicauda,Ā T. serratusĀ andĀ T. tenuicollis,Ā Craterostomum acuticaudatumĀ (adults).
- Small Strongyles (adults):Ā CyathostomumĀ spp. includingĀ C. catinatumĀ andĀ C. pateratum,Ā Cylicostephanus spp. includingĀ C. calicatus,Ā C. goldi,Ā C. longibursatusĀ andĀ C. minutus,Ā Cylicocyclus spp. includingĀ C. brevicapsulatus,Ā C. elongatus,Ā C. insigne,Ā C. leptostomum,Ā C. nassatus,Ā C. radiatus,Ā C. ashworthiĀ andĀ C. ultrajectinus,Ā Cylicodontophorus bicoronatus,Ā Coronocyclus spp. includingĀ C. coronatus,Ā C. labiatusĀ andĀ C. labratus,Ā Gyalocephalus capitatus,Ā Parapoteriostomum mettami,Ā Peterovinema poculatus,Ā Poteriostomum imparidentatum, as well as benzimidazole resistant strains.Ā Equest Plus Tape long acting horse wormer and boticide gel is the only horse wormer effective as a single dose against encysted stages of small strongyles: developing stages (DL), late encysted stages (LL3/EL4), and aids in control of early encysted stages (EL3) including inhibited larvae (greater than 90% effective).
- Pinworms:Ā Oxyurus equiĀ (adults and L3/L4 larval stages)
- Ascarids:Ā Parascaris equorumĀ (adults and intestinal stages (L4))
- Hairworms:Ā Trichostrongylus axeiĀ (adults)
- Intestinal Threadworms:Ā Strongyloides westeri

Active Constituents:Ā 75mg/mL Praziquantel, 10mg/mL Ivermectin
Features & Benefits:
- Targeted dosing
- Apple flavoured
- Low dose volume
- Each bottle treats 10 x 600kg horses
- Dosing syringe included
- Safe to use in ALL horses
- Cost effective
Applemax Gold Liquid Wormer may be used in horses of all ages including mares at any stage of pregnancy provided normal care is taken in handling. Stallions may be treated without adversely affecting their fertility.
Dosage & Administration:
Discard any unused diluted Applemax Gold Liquid Wormer suspension 24 hours after dilution.
The recommended dose is 1mL Applemax Gold Liquid Wormer per 50kg liveweight (equivalent to 200µg Ivermectin per kilogram liveweight and 1.5mg Praziquantel per kilogram liveweight).
Applemax Gold Liquid Wormer can be given as an oral drench or by stomach tube (nasogastric intubation). Nasogastric intubation should only be done by a veterinarian or under veterinary supervision.
Administration as an oral drench:Ā
For administration by this method, an undiluted dose is usually preferred. Clear the horseās mouth of any food material, elevate the horseās head, and using a suitable dosing syringe, deposit the appropriate dose in the back of the mouth. In order to avoid unnecessary coughing or the potential for material to enter the trachea and lungs, do not use excessive pressure, do not use a large dose volume of diluted Applemax Gold Liquid Wormer and do not deposit the dose in the laryngeal area. Increased dose rejection may occur if the dose is deposited in the front of the mouth. Keep the horseās head elevated and observe the horse to ensure the dose is retained.
Administration by stomach tube (gravity or positive flow):Ā Drenching horses by nasogastric intubation requires specialised skills and knowledge. Special consideration should be given to the effects of potential for injury from handling, restraint and placement of the tube during administration by stomach tube. Nasogastric intubation should only be done by a veterinarian or under veterinary supervision.
The recommended dose can be used undiluted or diluted up to approximately 40 times with clean tepid water. Use tepid water to flush any drug remaining in the tube into the horseās stomach. Pour the Applemax Gold Liquid Wormer into a graduated cylinder for dose measurement. Alternatively use a calibrated dosing syringe inserted into the bottle to measure the appropriate dose. Use a clean, dry syringe if accessing the bottle to avoid contaminating the remaining product.
MEAT WITHHOLDING PERIOD (HORSES):
DO NOT USE less than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption
Size: 120mL

Livamol with BioWorma is a nutritional supplement containing the natural biological control, BioWorma, that captures and consumes infective worm larvae (including chemical resistant/anthelmintic multi-resistant larvae) within the manure of grazing animals.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Dosage and Administration: Dose Livamol with BioWorma according to bodyweight.
1. For best results, treat animals with a suitable chemical wormer/anthelmintic.
2. Ideally, where possible, move the treated animals onto low worm pasture (that is, pasture that has not been grazed by the same animal species for a minimum 6 weeks).
3. The most worm susceptible are young animals (from 3 months up to 18-24 months of age) and periparturient females (last month of pregnancy and while producing milk) as they are the most likely to have less resistance to worm infestation due to low immunity. Pasture contamination by adult stock, even with low faecal egg counts (FEC), should not be underestimated considering the volume of faecal material they place on pasture.
4. Commence daily feeding of Livamol with BioWorma to minimise pasture infectivity and maintain the animalĆs low worm status. The product will not reduce pre-existing larval pasture contamination. Thoroughly mix Livamol with BioWorma with feed or feed supplements.
5. Livamol with BioWorma will begin to work immediately within the manure of treated animals, and for best results may be fed continuously when climatic conditions are conducive to BioWorma and parasitic nematode activity.
6. Livamol with BioWorma is recommended for strategic use during periods when weather conditions are conducive to larval development and transmission onto pasture at temperatures above 5 degrees Celsius.
7. Use in conjunction with a recommended worm management strategy for your area by contacting your Veterinarian, Animal Health Advisor or Government Advisory groups for a strategic Integrated Parasite Management (IPM) plan. It is important to consider the principles of refugia.

AMMO Allwormer Paste is a complete broad-spectrum wormer for horses that treats and controls roundworms, tapeworms, bots, and a wide range of internal parasites. It also helps prevent skin lesions caused by biting external parasite larvae, including Habronema and Draschia species. This makes it suitable for horses at all stages of life, including foals from four weeks of age, pregnant mares, stallions, and debilitated animals.
Active Ingredients (Composition):
- Abamectin 4 mg/g
- Morantel Tartrate 167 mg/g
How the Actives Work:
- Abamectin binds to glutamate-gated chloride channels in parasites, causing paralysis and death.
- Morantel Tartrate is a depolarising neuromuscular blocking agent that causes muscle contraction leading to paralysis of worms.
Treats and Controls the Following Parasites:
- Tapeworms (Anoplocephala perfoliata)
- Large strongyles: adult and larval stages of Strongylus vulgaris, adult and tissue stages of S. edentatus, adult S. equinus
- Small strongyles including benzimidazole-resistant strains
- Pinworms (adult and immature Oxyuris equi)
- Roundworms (adult and immature Parascaris equorum)
- Hairworms (adult Trichostrongylus axei)
- Neck threadworms (Onchocerca microfilariae)
- Bots: oral and gastric stages of Gasterophilus species
- Lungworms: adult and immature Dictyocaulus arnfeldi
- Intestinal threadworms (adult Strongyloides westeri)
- Large-mouthed stomach worms (adult Habronema muscae)
- Skin lesions caused by Habronema spp, Draschia spp cutaneous larvae (summer sores), and Onchocerca microfilariae
Dosage and Administration:
Each 32.5 g syringe is sufficient to treat one horse up to 600 kg bodyweight.
- Dose horses according to bodyweight using the dial-a-dose syringe markings.
- Foals and ponies: administer 5 mL per 100 kg bodyweight.
- Safe for use in pregnant mares, foals over six weeks, and convalescent horses.
Worming Frequency:
Horses should be wormed every 6 to 8 weeks as part of a year-round parasite control program. Begin worming foals at approximately six weeks of age.
Ammo Allwormer is an effective option to rotate with other wormers to reduce the risk of developing worm resistance.
Also available in single tubes, see seperate listing.

What is Equimax?
Equimax is a broad spectrum horse that contains Abamectin and Praziquantel.
Abamectin is an efficient broad-spectrum wormer and Praziquantel is totally effective against tapeworm. This offers horse owners the opportunity to treat for every worm when they drench their horse. Equimax is the only horse wormer available that can deliver this promise. This ensures that their horse has the least chance of developing worm related colic or illness.
Equimax Dosage Information
Dose rate of 1mL/20Kg bodyweight
Being a paste with a larger volume dose size (16.2grams or 32.4grams) means that if any of the dose is spilt or rejected then the wasted amount of active ingredient is minimised.
Dosage rate of every 6 - 8 weeks ensures effective control of all worms as this period takes into account the lifecycle of all worms. A strategic worming program should take into account the peak seasons for worming for specific worms (e.g. Tapeworm coming into winter). Without regular assessment of worm status (every 8 weeks) and strategic drenching, it is possible that total worm control will not be achievable.
Safety at up to five times the recommended dose rate in adult horses. The benefit to the consumer is that in a healthy adult horse, a dangerous overdose is virtually impossible when dosing with one syringe.
Equimax Worming Rotation
It is recommended to practise rotation of wormers to help prevent or slow the development of resistance. Products should be rotated yearly with one active being used for an entire year and then switching to a different active for the next year.
Strategy-T and Equimax contain completely different actives so make excellent rotation partners. During a Strategy-T year, Equimax needs to be included twice, as Strategy-T does not treat bots. Bots must be treated at the end of autumn and the beginning of spring.
Treatment of mares and foals
Equimax is safe to use in pregnant and lactating mares as well as young foals. Pregnant mares should be treated as normal during their pregnancy taking care not to stress them during treatment. Mares should be wormed two weeks prior to their expected foaling date. Once a mare has foaled the mare and foal should both be wormed starting from when the foal is six weeks old. Young horses need to be treated differently to older horses because they are at risk of mectin resistant ascarids. Ascarids appear to be the worm developing resistance to mectins. Generally ascarids are not found in horses over two years of age as horses seem to develop a natural immunity to these worms as they mature. Horses under two should be wormed every six weeks with Equimax Elevation. Once a horse turns two they should be then put on the Equimax/Strategy-T rotation program, however Equimax Elevation is safe to use in horses of all ages if you wish to.
What does Equimax protect against?
Equimax is a broad-spectrum worming paste that is up to 100% effective in treating all major internal parasites in horses including:
- Large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris,Ā Strongylus edentatus, Strongylus equinus and Triodontophorus spp.).
- Small strongyles including benzimidazole resistant strains (Cyathostomum spp., Cylicocyclus spp., Cylicostephanus spp., Cylicodontophorus spp., Gyalocephalus spp.)

- Pinworms (Oxyuris equi)
- Hairworms (Trichostrongylus axei)
- Large mouthed stomach worms (Habronema muscae)
- Lungworms (Dictyocaulus arnfieldi)

- Praziquantel affects tapeworms by causing spastic paralysis and damaging the tegument, increasing membrane permeability to cations. The tapeworms are then destroyed in situ.
- Oxfendazole destroys abamectin-resistant Parascaris equorum by inhibiting tubulin synthesis in the parasite, leading to death by starvation.

Do not use less than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption.

Equimax Elevation offers 3 way action for complete protection. There is no horse wormer on the market quite like Equimax Elevation. A unique formulation of three active ingredients designed to combat mectin resistance, Equimax Elevation is particularly suitable for worming young horses from 6 weeks to 24 months.
That's because young horses need special protection from potentially mectin resistant ascarids, a problem worm in horses under two years old. Ascarids can build up to life threatening numbers in a short time, causing severe blockages in a young horses comparatively smaller intestinal tract or permanently damaging their developing lungs. Equimax Elevation completely protects young horses from ascarids, as well as all other worms.
Ā
INDICATIONS:
Equimax Elevation is a broad-spectrum worming paste that is up to 100% effective in treating all major internal parasites in horses including:
