About this item
Canine All Wormer offers total protection from all 11 intestinal worms (including roundworm, whipworm, hookworm, tapeworm and hydatid tapeworm).
Contains Praziquantel, Pyrantel and Oxantel. Treat once every three months. Safe for puppies from 2 weeks of age, as well as pregnant & lactating bitches, working dogs, greyhounds and senior dogs. Canine All Wormer can be safely combined with flea and tick treatments. Does not prevent heartworm.
Three different tablet sizes are available.
10kg tabs (one tablet treats 10kg bodyweight), available in packs of 2, 6, 40 or 100 tablets
20kg tabs (one tablet treats 20kg bodyweight), available in packs of 50 and 100.
40kg tabs (one tablet treats 40kg bodyweight), available in packs of 2, 25 or 70 tablets.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
CANINE All Wormer Tablets for Dogs can be administered in conjunction with other treatments such as Valuheart Monthly Heartworm Prevention Tablets and flea and tick treatments.
The tablets may be administered with or without food. Some dogs will eat the tablets by themselves.
It is important to weigh the dog before treatment to ensure the correct dose is given.
PUPPIES: Treat every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age and then once a month until they are 6 months of age. Then once every 3 months.
ADULT DOGS: (including working dogs, greyhounds and senior dogs)
Treat regularly every 3 months for their entire life.
PREGNANT AND LACTATING BITCHES:Treat prior to mating, 10 days before whelping, 4 weeks after whelping then every three months.
UNTREATED DOGS: Untreated dogs may be heavily infested and so require weekly dosing for the first 2 - 4 weeks and then every 3 months.
If Whipworms are known to be present, treat every 6-8 weeks after 3 months of age.
In Hydatid areas, the dogs should be treated every 6 weeks.

We use these as they are used and recommended by our trusted vet, we find they are very effective. As breeders we have a number of dogs and these packs are excellent value.
DO NOT buy these tablets they do not work at all.
To start I just thought I needed to give my dogs an extra dose but no this is not the case the tablets do not work at all I keep my dog's very clean the area they live in very clean and I have never had worms problem in my dog's until I started these tablets.
I would like to give no stars but that doesn't seem to be an option please be wary it's a lot of money down the drain and your dogs will NOT be worm free.

Big tablet but easy to break in half, two of my 3 dogs just ate it out of my hand.
Good value for money. Can break the tablet in half. Rolled in mince the dogs swallow it straight down.
Easy to dose, is a big tablet but easily halved. Didn't notice it in their food.

I use this product on my dogs every 3 months and it keeps them free of internal parasites and very healthy.

The have no objection to the taste and take it with some peanut paste as a treat. Bulk buying is economical. Effective and handy for when I put them in kennels for the odd weekend away.

Because I can buy in bulk, I have it on hand and do not forget to give it when due and I know the product is effective, it also covers more worms than other brands that I have used and the cost is cheaper than other places.

If my dog weighs six kilos do I give her a bit more than half a tablet or a full tablet up to ten kilos

I would give your dog the full tablet.
It would be quite difficult to break the tablet so she gets an accurate dose and not to mention if you are giving 2 pieces of tablet the 2nd piece is always so much harder to give as the dogs are usually onto you.
The tablets are formulated to give one tablet per 10kg and will be safe to give the full tablet to her.

What is the shelf life/ expiry on these tablets?

The Value Plus Canine Allwormer Tablets usually have a long shelf life.
For example the bottle of 100 10kg tablets that we currently have in stock have an expiry date of Feb 2022.
We will not ship anything out with an expiry date less than 6 months.
