That's because young horses need special protection from potentially mectin resistant ascarids, a problem worm in horses under two years old. INDICATIONS:
Equimax Elevation is a broad-spectrum worming paste that is up to 100% effective in treating all major internal parasites in horses including:

Equimax Elevation has a double action against nematodes and tapeworms due to the combination of the three actives ivermectin,praziquantel and pyrantel. Additionally, the double action is considered to delay the onset of resistance to either anthelminitic.

Cetrigen is a distinctly / brightly coloured antibacterial wound spray formulated for the treatment of superficial cuts and wounds in all animals.

Cetrigen assists in drying the wound, thus aiding the natural healing process and decreasing the attractive nature of the wound for the flies.

Cetrimide is an effective anti-bacterial agent, thereby aiding in the prevention of infection.

Cetrigen also contains insect repellants to prevent insects and maggots being attracted to the area and irritating the horse and wound further.

Directions for Use

1. Determine your horse's bodyweight and set the syringe to the appropriate dose.
2. Ensure the horse's mouth is free of feed.
3. Insert the nozzle into the interdental space between the front and back teeth.
4. Deposit the paste onto the back of the tongue.
5. Immediately raise the horse's head for a few seconds to encourage swallowing.

Dosage Guide

The recommended dose rate is 1mL per 100kg bodyweight.

• First division treats 100kg bodyweight
• Each subsequent division treats 50kg bodyweight
• One 6.42g syringe treats horses up to 600kg

Recommended for:

How often should I use Ultimum?
Ultimum is a long-acting wormer and should be used as part of a strategic worming program rather than at regular intervals. It provides an extended egg reappearance period of at least 14 weeks, and for most adult horses is typically used once per year, often timed in late autumn or early spring, or when faecal egg counts or veterinary advice indicate it is needed.

During exercise, lactic acid and free radicals build up in the muscles, and if not neutralised and removed can lead to cramping, stiffness, fatigue and slow recovery. Lactic acid build-up is also one of the factors which contributes to "tying-up"syndrome.

NEUTRADEX is formulated to combat the effects of acidosis and dehydration particularly after fast work. NEUTRADEX also encourages horses to drink, increasing the action of the kidneys in clearing toxic wastes produced by hard exercise.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

A daily intake of Cal-plus with Biotin will help ensure the development and maintenance of a strong and sound musculo-skeletal system, including the hoof. Horses on high grain/bran diets, or those grazing tropical pastures, should receive the recommended dose of Cal-plus with Biotin each day to help ensure an optimum calcium:phosphorus ration to maintain strong healthy bones, ligaments and tendons.

DOSAGE Note: It is preferable not to mix any calcium into wet bran mixtures. One level scoop contains 30g of Cal-plus with Biotin. The recemmended dose rates have been calculated to satisfy the calcium requirements based on common diets and activity. However, a veterinarian may prescribe amounts in excess of those recommended to horses with skeletal or hoof abnormalities. Horses with poor hooves should receive adequate levels of protein in their diets to provide essential amino acids, which in conjunction with a daily intake of Cal-plus with Biotin will assist in improving hoof structure.
