Wound Care

Wound Klense is a gentle, highly effective wound cleansing preparation that can be applied to clean debris and residues from healing wounds. Suitable for cattle, horses, dogs & cats. 

The organic acids in Wound Klense assist in the removal of necrotic tissue (dead or dying skin cells), serum discharges, pus and other debris from wounds. The acidic environment provided by these acids also helps to limit bacterial and fungal growth on the wound surface.

Wound Klense is non-greasy and aids in preventing tissue from drying out. It is best applied prior to the application of other wound disinfectants and healing preparations such as Buffered Iodine and Flint's Medicated Oil.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Spray the surface of the open wound to remove embedded dirt, grit and dried debris from the affected area. The residue of solution left on the wound aids removal of dead tissue and promotes healing. Wounds may be bandaged with a dressing soaked in Wound Klense and changed daily. Repeat as necessary.

Heritage Downs Cleansing Tea Tree Spray is a powerful spray for when fast cleansing is required, with minimum handling & fuss!

It contains essential vitamins & minerals of Tea Tree and Papaya. 

To remove dirt and cleanse the area, spray liberally until clean.

Dermaclens Spray aids in the removal of necrotic tissue, coagulum and debris from wounds. Promotes healing and regeneration of tissue in cattle, horses, dogs and cats.
Indications :
Treatment of chapped teats, udder lesions and black spot in dairy cows and wounds in cattle, horses, dogs and cats.

Precautions:
 Ensure that all residues are removed from the udder or teats prior to milking by washing with soapy water and drying the teat thoroughly.

Equi-Solfen anaesthetic and antiseptic spray provides 4-in-1 solution for pain relief and wound care for horses with superficial skin wounds. 
Administered once-daily for up to seven days, this ready-to-use, spray-on gel provides rapid and lasting relief from acute pain, reduces bleeding, protects against infection and assists in wound healing. 

Equi-Solfen contains lignocaine and bupivacaine, two local anaesthetics that block the nerve signals from damaged issue that are responsible for the sensation of pain, reducing the horse’s pain response; adrenaline, which constricts blood vessels on wounds, reducing blood loss, minimising stress and shock; and cetrimide, an antiseptic and surfactant that helps to start the healing process and protect against infection. Equi-Solfen® is specially formulated to help to seal and protect the skin wound for improved wound healing.

Administration of Equi-Solfen to wounds is not intended to replace the need for attention of a veterinarian. If you have any  about a wound, always consult your veterinarian. Deep wounds or those that are bleeding heavily require immediate veterinary attention. Bleeding can be controlled temporarily by applying Equi-Solfen and a pressure bandage.
