Doesn't ship with fitting required to connect to your hose

Seemed like a great idea but it doesn't have fittings to connect to a garden hose so be prepared to buy extra to be able to use it, really disappointed in that. It will require additional time and additional money for me to be able to set this up and use it, rating is for inconvenience, I haven't had a chance to use it yet because I haven't had the time to go and try and find the fittings I need.

This is a great product. We use it for our dog. We had a bit of trouble getting it set up but once we sorted out the right position for the float it was all good.

Hi, just wondering if the aqua buddy, automatic watered is suitable for budgies in a large aviary?

Hi Diane
Thank you for your Question.
I can't see why it wouldn't work for Budgies.
It automatically fills when it empties to a certain level. So as the Budgies splash the water out when using it as a bath it will refill.
You will need to check it daily to make sure that the water is still fresh as it will just be topping up the bowl with fresh water. It does completely empty.
Before using please check that the Budgies will be able to get out of the bowl should they use it as a bath. The bowl is about 7cm deep. You may need to put a rock in the bowl so they have something to climb on if they fall in.
