Directions for Use

  • Do NOT USE ON CATS DO NOT USE ON ANIMALS UNDER 3 MONTHS OF AGE.
  • Do not spray into eyes.
  • Apply on a small area first as some animals may have sensitive skin.
  • Dogs Fleas – Spray weekly.
  • Allow to dry on coat.
  • Adult Brown Tick – Thoroughly spray dog weekly when ticks are active and maintain daily searching for and removal of any ticks found.
  • Horses Queensland Itch – Spray as required for nuisance flies.
  • For Queensland Itch spray the entire animal twice weekly until symptoms are controlled then as required with a trigger spray device.
  • Allow to dry on coat.
  • Repeat as necessary and as conditions require.

Cotex Multi-Purpose Insecticidal Spray & Pine Oil Cleanser for Dogs and Horses controls Fleas, Lice, Flies, Mites and the Adult Brown Tick on Dogs. Aids in the control of Queensland Itch on Horses.
DO NOT USE ON ANIMALS UNDER 3 MONTHS OF AGE 

Key Uses and Applications:

  • Target Species: Dogs and horses (do not use on cats or animals under 3 months of age). 
  • Active Ingredients: Permethrin (an insecticide that lasts for a few days) combined with pine oil (which helps soothe skin irritation). 
  • For Dogs: Controls fleas, lice, flies, mites, and adult brown ticks. It also aids in relieving hot spots and ear mites (applied with a cotton bud). 
  • For Horses: Aids in controlling Queensland itch, rain scald relief, and repelling flies and midges. 
  • Environment: Can be sprayed onto animal bedding, yards, and hidden areas to kill flea infestations. 
  • Hydrobath Option: Can be mixed at a ratio of 150ml to 15L of water.
