I bought 2 of these one for my 4 month old puppy and 2 year old dog after having it recommended and fitted at my local pet store. I've used them twice now following their directions as well as using the instructions included and both my dogs have swollen bleeding lumps under their front left legs where the strap goes. After the second walk (where they were so misbehaved until I noticed it was from being in pain) I felt terrible and when I called the pet store they said they had seen this happen before. I feel so cruel using this harness and not sure how it can be called a gentle leader...

I walk 2 x 30kg plus dogs both kelpie greyhound cross. We walk nice until any small creature comes into view. I have tried all other harnesses and collars except a prong collar and this one is the only one I feel confident using.

Really helps with training the new puppy how to walk nicely in public, but i would like to see smaller sizes, there wasn’t one that fit my dogs correctly and we had to sew the xs one to make it xxs.

Bought 2 harness, both of poor quality. Broke within first day .
Customer service blamed me and were aggressive. Never replied to my emails either. Never use this company again.

works really well to interrupt pulling, need to ensure you have the right fit so that when puppy digs it's heals in it doesn't come off - this brand have inbetween sizes meaning there's an option for every stage of growth

really good product - I bought two more - one is a replacement for a previous E W Harness that was wearing out after about five years of solid service and the other for one of my other dogs. So now I am walking four of my Border Collies at once on easy walk harnesses (fortunately the two old grrrls are over the foolishness of pulling on walks!) Effective, efficient - I love them

I love this harness. My dalmatian was a puller but this harness stops the pulling & makes him easy to walk.

This thing is INCREDIBLE!! We have an 18-month-old Cocker Spaniel who does all the things Cockers do. He pulls, sniffs everywhere, lurches etc. This harness worked INSTANTLY! It's honestly like we have a completely different dog. I am absolutely shook. Shook I tells ya! No longer will there be spilled coffees and crushed fingers. No longer shall we suffer under the reign of an excitable Cocker. We are in control! The power has been handed back to the people and it is the dawn of a new age. A pull-free age! Excellent for walking a young Labrador

Our 1 y o whippet was pulling in all directions when using a conventional collar. Only holding her lead very short made it possible to get down the footpath with some semblance of dignity. She is very energetic and easily distracted. This harness has not magically turned her into a perfect walker but it has certainly made things a lot better. She doesn’t resist the harness and seems to enjoy walking more now. The different coloured straps make it easy to put the harness on correctly . We had some minor issues with adjusting the fit as whippets are very deep chested but also thin, The plastic clasps were very stiff at first, hard to release but rubbing fine sandpaper fixed that. I’m very happy with this harness.

This is excellent, and worked immediately. A pulling, straining dog changed instantly. The principle is based on animal - behaviour studies, and the results are both kind to the dog and a relief to the handler.

This is designed so well, from the first walk it worked magic and stopped our dog pulling on the leash and made the walk so much less stressful.

Purchased this based on great reviews from other Dalmatian owners and it will save me getting a shoulder reconstruction literally! Have used many other harnesses but this has changed walking my dot into such a pleasure. She is getting used to wearing it as I won't go walking without it. Also purchased the zero shock extension which give or dog a little more freedom as she is usually walked off leash. Fantastic design!

There is a world of difference in my Harry's demeanour with and without this item. He seems much more relaxed and does not try to tug like a Husky, as previously. The item is well made and seems robust. Would definitely recommend this item.

I must say I am impressed by this harness. It sits really comfortably on the dog. We have three dogs, all of them used to pull to different degrees, one really used to make terrible choking sounds pulling against the old harness. But with the Gentle Leader there is no pulling, no choking sounds (as the harness sits lower on the chest) and all three dogs now walk happily beside us. The Gentle Leader Easy Walk Harness has really made a big difference to our dogs and make walk time much more enjoyable.

Have tried other No Pull harnesses that didn't stop my pup pulling so I was hesitant to buy yet another one but this harness worked from the second we put it on. So glad I purchased this as now I can walk my dog myself instead of it only being my husband.. this harness has been a game changer for us! Highly recommend

I have bought two of these as they are the ONLY harness that are truly gentle and makes a real difference. I have two large Bull Arab x dogs, one was a puller and the other has PSD and would twist, turn, pull back, jump and drop when trying to start her walking. I decided to try the Gentle Leader on her and I was amazed at how quickly she settled, it worked so well I tried in on my big boy and to my delight, it had the same effect. I can now walk them both together with these Gentle Leaders in a relaxed fashion and we all enjoy our walks now. I have more confidence in controlling them both together and I know that my girl who has PTSD will not be able to wriggle out of her harness. She seems to be far more at ease with this harness. Best harness I have ever bought.

I love this harness. The leash attachment at the front of the chest is the perfect way to teach your dog not to pull on the lead.

Works like a dream, has slowed down my border collies pulling when walking!! I enjoy walking her more now 😀

I’ve just used this harness on my Labrador for first time - he loved it!No issues at all. I would thoroughly recommend it. Harvey wasn’t a puller but it certainly kept him calm.
