iO Equigard Horse Paste is designed for the treatment and control of roundworms, bots and skin lesions caused by summer sores in horses. This low-dose volume paste is supplied in an ergonomic syringe for easy administration, reducing the likelihood of spitting out and making it comfortable for smaller hands to use.

Dose Rate:
One syringe will treat a horse up to 700 kg bodyweight. Each weight marking on the plunger dispenses 1.07 g of paste, which is sufficient to treat 100 kg bodyweight.

Why would I need a needle if I am going to administer the dose into the mouth?. Is one dose, administered at the correct rate per kg., sufficient or is it necessary to repeat it? If so, how often?Thank you in anticipation of your reply,

Sorry I am not sure why you think you would need a needle, is there something misleading in the products description that we need to correct?
Yes, you are correct, the worming paste is given into the horses mouth.
You can set the dial on the plunger and give the correct dose per your horses body weight.
One dose is sufficient.
There is no need to repeat unless you have been advised to by your Vet. This would only be the case if your horse has a very heavy worm burden.
A good worming regime is to worm 4-6 times a year.
