About this item

Jelonet is a paraffin gauze dressing that soothes and protects wounds and allows free passage of exudate. Jelonet is soothing and low-adherent and allows the wound to drain freely into an absorbent secondary dressing.

Jelonet maintains shape and has interlocking threads which minimise fraying when the dressing is cut to shape.

Jelonet is not medicated and so is ideal for use with the topical antiseptic or antibiotic of choice.

Each sheet measures 10cm x 10cm.

Sold as a box of 10 sheets.

Hello,
Would this adhere to a dogs nose? My dog gets lesions from lupus and I’m looking for something to cover the top of her nose when she’s outside.

Thank you for your Question.
No sorry, the Jelonet would not be suitable.
It is a stringy type gauze that is covered in Paraffin, it is used as a nonstick dressing over wounds under bandages. Your dog would only need to flick her head and it would fall off.
You could use it under an adhesive bandage. Something like elastoplast cut into the size you need.
