Although this little trimmer is a great size it certainly isn't quiet it sounds like a cross between a blow fly and a drone both of which my dog hates there for doesn't like this little trimmer at all. Only 3 stars for this reason.

This is a great trimmer. I have long haired cats and need to keep their bums shave a for sanitary reasons and this works a treat. Good size and very quiet and the blade just cuts through the fur like butter. Couldn’t be happier!

My vet recommended this pet clipper, because it's efficient, operates on batteries and is very quiet. It's so easy to use. No matter how well I groom my long haired kitty Ya, he gets matts and isn't very cooperative. I've found this trimmer has taken all the stress away for both Ya and myself. It's a wonderful trimmer. This shaver did the job I was hoping for. We have a mini lip x angora x chinchilla. Her fur was getting so many knots and this helps to shave through them, to remove them. It was recommended by a local vet and I’m really happy it does the job well!
