About this item

The Stockbrands Plastic Drinking Bowl is the ideal solution for the constant supply of water to large or smaller animals, aviaries and poultry farms. Proven reliable and Australian made, this plastic bowl is ideal for reducing animal injuries in pens or yards.

The float cover is bolted down and swings open. The bowl is very strong and is UV stabilised. No problem with frost. Drain incorporated. All parts available.

Use to water stock on roadsides, or strip grazing away from a trough (place just under electric wire), or for watering calf pens or stock yards (ideally place in a corner). Mount on a post or rail - there are mount holes in the rear.
15mm water fittings, and suitable water pressure up to about 50psi.

Most the livestock water bowls are designed to slope forward when mounted on a vertical surface. This is to cause the water to run to the front to be used by stock, reducing possible stagnating. The float angle should be adjusted so water fills nearly to overflow at the front edge of the bowl.

We are a stockist not a distributor sorry. I am not sure where you can purchase them locally to you.
We do ship Australia Wide. We ship from Brisbane. Delivery to Melbourne is usually about 5 business days, quicker with Express Post.
If your bowl is continually running it could be the float or float assembly.
The float may have water in it so it isn't floating on top of the water therefore not turning the tap part off. The lever may also be broken, calcified or silted up.
We do sell a Replacement Float assembly.
