About this item

Technyflex Equine is a natural arthritis product for horses that alleviates sore and inflamed joints and arthritic symptoms.

Technyflex Equine may help reduce the symptoms of:

  • Arthritis
  • Musculo Skeletal Conditions (hock, fetlock, back, knee, neck)
  • Low Grade Chronic Lameness
  • Bowed Tendons
  • Navicular
  • Tendonitis
  • Queensland Itch/Summer Itch

Technyflex Equine is derived from the New Zealand Greenlipped Mussel powder

DOSAGE:
Maintenance dose: 1 gram per day. 1 gram spoon supplied in tub.
Loading dose: 2 grams-3 grams per day for the first 10 day.

The bioactivity of Technyflex is dose dependent: that is, the higher dosage, the sooner benefits occur, and side effects are Benevolent.

Technyflex use a proprietary processing technique on our New Zealand Greenlipped Mussel extract to obtain higher yields of EFAs, essential fatty acids, known as omega 3 and 6. These consist of ETAs eicosatetraenoic acid, EPA eicosapentaenoic acid and DHA docosahexaenoic acid. These 3 characteristics also help in assisting the horses' well being.

Technyflex Equine provides a natural alternative and is effective in many Musculo-skeletal conditions affecting the back, neck hock, fetlock, knee and low-grade chronic lameness. Technyflex Equine is used throughout the Equestrian and horse racing industry in Australia, NZ, Singapore and Hong Kong Turf Club. Technyflex Equine works well for Horses exposed to hot/humid or Cold conditions all year round.

Treating your horse with Technyflex, a high quality joint supplement, will assist in many ways. Administering prior to onset of these conditions is also recommended for increased mobility and as prevention for ageing joints.

"Prevention is better than cure"

Other associated benefits:

  • EPA assists with skin condition, and has been known to support skin permeability, condition and tone. The EPA in our product has been known to assist with Queensland itch (Australia) and provides a true sign that the product is working effectively as the coat of the horse will show a nice shine and also a healthy look, especially if your horse shows signs of a dull or patchy coat.
  • DHA is known to assist with the general well being. In hot or humid places such as Queensland Australia it helps to regulate body temperature with signs of horses' being able to work under pressure easier and is not so scratchy

Other points of interest

Technyflex Equine does not have any additives and our raw materials are specially processed to enhance the full goodness to the end user. They are not purchased on the free market like other products that derive from seafood.

The effectiveness of the product is due to its ingestion qualities. Technyflex is not processed from sea crustaceans or ground down shellfish, i.e. crab shell or shark cartilage; making our product easier to digest ensuring results to the user faster.

Technyflex Equine is derived from the New Zealand Greenlipped Mussel, grown in the clean pristine waters of New Zealand. To ensure the high quality of our product, each batch is tested and confirmed to be free from heavy metals and other microorganisms.

Technyflex

I have a 30yrs old mare.
She has been with me
Most of her life. I've been using Nz. Green lipped muscle for her arthritis many years.
This product was recommended to me and will be used once her present medication is finished. ( it's no longer available)
I'm very hopeful that it is exactly as good as it is advertised and recommended.
I will certainly keep In Touch with the results.

My horses hate the taste

Every time I feel my 2 old horses this supplement in their feed, both horses tip their feed bins over. They're not fussy eaters and normally eat everything I give them, but not this. I've tried to disguise the flavour, but they know every time.

Technyflex natural anti-inflammatory for horses

this product has made the most amazing difference to my extremely old horse (over50). The effect was very quick. I initially gave it to her mixed in molasses based steam flake barley. She now moves so much more easily and often runs around.

Don't know if it works or not. Horses won't touch their feed even with just a pinch of this in it. Has a really strong fishy smell

I have a 20year old quarter horse ,he has been diagnosed with inflammation in neck & back over the loin Area, which has caused the staggers in All legs. The vet has given an injection for the inflammation &pain to followup with Bute everyday. Do you think technyflex would help & if you think it would, is it all right to keep using the Bute.

vet-n-pet DIRECT

Hi Jeff

Thank you for your question.
If the inflammation is arthritic yes the Technyflex should help. Muscle soreness it may not help.
It does depend on your horse, as what works for one may not work for another. The Technyflex is marine based. If it does not work you could try another plant based one.
You can use it with Bute.
Please check with your Vet regarding any questions regarding long term use with Bute. It is a prescription medication.
I hope that helps

Cheers

Lisa
