About this item

The Mega Tuffy 14" inches - is by far the tuffest toy in the Tuffy range with 7 Layers of Material and 7 rows of stitching. Now that is Tuff! 

Can be used alone or interactively with the dogs and humans. It can be used as a Frisbee or a tug toy. Great for flyball training - soft edges won't hurt teeth or gums. For medium to large dogs.

Mega Construction:
Seven Layers of Material - Three Layers of 600 Denier nylon, three layers of PVC, and finally one layer of soft fleece. All seven layers are rolled together and then sewn together in a one inch cross pattern to prevent layer separation.

Seven Rows Of Stitching: Each toy's seven layers of material are sewn together with two rows of linear stitching AND two rows of cross stitching. Those four rows of stitching are protected with a nylon webbing that are sewn three MORE times!

Protective Webbing: Additional industrial grade nylon webbing is sewn around the outside edge with three rows of stitching to cover and protect the first four rows of stitching.

Squeaker Safety: Each Squeaker is safe and quiet because they are sewn into a nylon safety pocket beneath seven other layers of materials.

Each toy is washable (air dry) and they Float !

I love it, he loves it!

Survived 3 weeks with my 46kg pup and still going strong. We love soft toys, only managed to create 2 tears in it so far (through a single layer of fabric, and a small section of the edging where it ends), potential for it to be destroyed by really obsessive harsh chewers but the best play toy for tug of war and chase, it rolls very well! Just starting it hoop it over sticks and stakes for him to lift off. Has been worth the money on this occasion.

It's tough!

My 15 month old Kelpie usually destroys any and all toys within days, sometimes hours. However, I'm impressed with the Tuffy Mega Ring because he's had it now for a number of weeks and it's still in one piece and he loves to play with it every day.

A great toy for a tough chewer

Our 5 month old Koolie cross can't get enough of this toy. She chases it around the yard, throwing and catching it, but also likes it in her crate to sleep with. It's already been machine washed several times, and although I've trimmed some loose threads as the manufacturer recommends, I can see this lasting a long time. And she's a tough chewer, so I'm very impressed!

A little disappointed

After reading the reviews and description of this product being tiger tested and dog approved I was a bit disappointed. This toy didn't quite last a week with my Lab. On the positive side he did enjoy playing with it while it lasted.

I bought a Tuffy toy four years ago, it was similar to the ring but in the shape of a bone, I was skeptical it would last. But it has survived my Ridgeback as a puppy and along with my other dog (a vizsla).their constant games of tug of war. Tuffy products live up to their name.

We have 2 bullmastiff boys and a boisterous rottweiler girl, the boys are giants, 1 weighing 75kgs! They all love their Tuffies - no other toys last as long as a Tuffie.
