Is this whistle actually silent to human ears? I have just purchased a Remington Deluxe Silent Whistle which is far from silent to my hearing. I need it to be as silent as mute choraliers singing Silent Night in a cone of silence during a minute's silence at 3am in the gentle falling snow. That silent. Thanks for feedback.

Thank you for your Question. It was great by the way :)
You can adjust the pitch by winding in or out.
The Acme silent dog whistle is silent when it is wound all of the way in. My ears can not hear it but my dog can, she pricks her ears when she hears it. If the whistle is wound all of the way out, it is quite audible.
