Those who breed dogs know that mothers can be fussy eaters for days following whelping. They will often refuse solid food and water, but will readily accept milk replacer. HUGE fan of Wombaroo Dog Milk replacer. We started using it to supplement feed our smaller puppies, when they were just a few days old and kept puppies on it as an evening / before bed treat up to 10 weeks old. Puppies loved it and thrived on it both when combined with mums milk and once mums milk had dried up. Highly recommend.

Instead of being a general animal supplement this particular brand manufactures specific milk substitutes for individual animal nutritional requirements. I am confident I am doing the best I can when mother's milk is not available.
