About this item
A powder that forms a liquid nectar when mixed with water and is a balanced maintenance food for lorikeets and honeyeaters. The food is made by adding 300g of powder to 500mL of warm water, mixing well then making up to 1 Litre with water. Prepared food may be stored frozen.

This is a wonderful product by the great people at Wombaroo. I have a perpetual order going for this to feed my rescued honeyeater and have been using it for six years. Used wet or dry it forms the basic maintenance diet for my bird - I supplement this with fresh fruit, greens, hard boiled egg, egg and biscuit, fresh and dried mealworms - and whenever she's vet checked the vet always remarks on how healthy she is and how good her condition is, which you can see by her photo.
In addition to this Vet and Pet Direct are reliable and offer a far better price than any of my local pet stores (Petbarn and Petstock) who always mark the product up a lot. I did my homework and - postage included - Vet and Pet Direct are still cheaper than they are.
