Reconstitute RO is a high quality, multi-component, broad spectrum mixture of all mineral ions including General Hardness (GH), alkalinity (KH) and all major, minor and trace minerals required for optimum health and longevity of freshwater fish, invertebrates and plants. When mixed with filtered water prepared by reverse osmosis, distillation, or deionization, it will convert those filtered waters into a natural environment in which all aquarium inhabitants will thrive. It has been used to raise discus and other freshwater fish, as well as keep whole systems in breeder, public and home aquariums.

Reconstituting reverse osmosis, deionized or distilled water ensures complete user control over aquarium water parameters. Treating purified water with Reconstitute RO allows the user to customize hardness and alkalinity for the type of fish you’re keeping. This is especially important when keeping and breeding sensitive or expensive species such as discus or wild caught fish. Using reconstituted purified water will also help solve many aquarium keeping water quality issues and prevent the entry of unwanted nutrients such as phosphates that are prevalent in public water supplies.

This product may also be used to reconstitute filtered rainwater and is particularly useful where there are no other water sources available for maintaining your aquarium such as in rural areas that dont have access to a town water source. Rainwater tends to be similar to reverse osmosis water in that is is missing most dissolved minerals and is thus very soft with low GH and KH and is quite acidic (approx 5.5-6).

In all cases you should know your water parameters and have suitable test kits on hand.

Aquasonic Tropical Water Conditioning Salts have been formulated to re-create natural conditions in your aquarium. It contains the correct balance of salts, natural minerals and trace elements, plus bacterial and fungal inhibitors, to promote health and wellbeing.

Use Tropical Water Conditioning Salts with new aquarium water, when starting up or doing a water change. It will raise General Hardness by approx. 80ppm and Salinity (NaCl) by 130ppm. Further addition of salt (NaCl) is not recommended.

• Add 5g (1 level teaspoon) per 15L of water.
• Re-seal container when not in use.
• Do not redose without a water change.

To calculate approximate aquarium capacity: Multiply the length x width x water level height (in cm) and divide by 1,000 for litres.

At the same time, EasyBalance PLUS replenishes essential vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes for maximum aquarium health. One teaspoon treats 19L.

Regular use of EasyBalance PLUS reduces the need for water changes for up to 6 months.

Features of EasyBalance PLUS:

• Carbonate Hardness Additive – The appropriate amount of carbonate hardness is added to the aquarium water compensating for KH losses, which occur as a result of nitrification.
• pH Stabilization – Stabilizes the pH value on a sufficiently high level, preventing a drop to biologically harmful levels (pH crash) and produces a certain amount of CO2 preventing excessive pH values.
• Phosphate Removing Effect – In a standard aquarium (113L) the phosphate concentration is reduced to zero during most of the 6-month period.
• New Feature: Nitrate Reduction with Nitraban™ – Serves as a nutrient for denitrifying bacteria that consume the oxygen releasing nitrogen from the aquarium. On average the nitrate concentration will drop below 40mg/l.

NOTE: EasyBalance PLUS will not neutralize chlorine or chloramines. When adding tap water to the aquarium it is recommended you always use Tetra AquaSafe® according to its directions.
