Great product

Great for keeping the flies off the food during hot weather. Use them under my verandah and inside. Only took my pets a few days to get used to lid opening. I now have 5 feeders and have found the batteries last a long time. The only thing I would like added to this product is somewhere to put ice or a cold pack to keep food cool.

I have a problem with birds eating my dogs food. Do you think the sensor would open for a bird or it is activated by an animal more heavy

Thank you for your question.
A bigger bird like a Magpie or even a Butcher bird may be able to trigger the bowl to open, they are very intelligent birds and they could most likely work out how to cheat the system as such.
You may be better off with a Microchip Pet Feeder or a SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect. You program your dogs microchip number to the bowl and it will only open when he goes to the bowl.
