Seresto Flea and Tick Collar for Dogs over 8kg provides 8 months continuous protection for dogs from fleas and 4 months from ticks in one easy application. Seresto collars also protects your dog against lice.
The active ingredients in Seresto collars are specially formulated for steady, dose-adjusted release that spreads over your dog, remaining in the fatty layer of the skin and coat, where they are effective against fleas and ticks all season long. Best of all, fleas don't have to bite your dog to be affected, so your pet suffers less of those painful flea bites. The collars also effectively repels and kills ticks, preventing them from attaching and feeding from your dog.
The top 5 benefits of Seresto Dog Collars:
- Fast relief from painful bites from fleas and ticks: * Protects your pet against fleas immediately after collar application * Protects your pet against ticks within 48 hours after application * Imidacloprid kills fleas on contact - they don't have to bite * Flumethrin ensures that ticks are repelled and killed
- Long-lasting and easy to use: * 8 months of continuous protection against fleas * 4 months continuous protection against ticks * No need to remember monthly dosing with spot on products * Simply unroll the collar, trim away the connector tabs, fit the collar so there is space for two fingers between the neck and the collar and trim away the excess
- Prevents development of further fleas: * Kills adult fleas in less than 2 hours after reinfesting * Kills 99%-100% of fleas before they lay eggs * Prevents infestation if your treated pet comes into contact with other pets with fleas * Helps clean up the flea population living in the house by killing larvae living in the pet's environment (bedding, floors and furniture)
- Safe for the family and the pet: * Predetermined break point and emergency release ratchet system to allow the collar to loosen or break without injury to your pet * Safety studies confirm a high Margins of Safety (MoS) for you, your pet, and the environment
- Water resistant: * Active ingredients stay locked in the collar and trapped in the fatty layer of the skin, so your dog can be bathed without needing to remove the collar, and with the peace of mind that it will still be effective against fleas and ticks.
What are the active ingredients in the Seresto collars?
Seresto collars contain two active ingredients, Imidacloprid and Flumethrin. Each collar contains 100mg/g of Imidacloprid and 45mg/g of Flumethrin to kill ticks and fleas.
How long does it take for the Seresto collars to work?
The Seresto collars start providing protection within 2 hours of protection. Existing fleas will be killed within the first 24 hours of use and existing ticks within 6 hours of use.

Seresto is water-resistant and will still be effective if you dog goes swimming or is exposed to rain.

DErt Control is 100% safe for dogs, cats, horses and even rabbits but deadly to ticks, fleas, bed bugs and all sorts of other nasty parasites.
- Certified Organic – Listed with Australian Certified Organic.
- Made in Australia – Mined in QLD’s Mt Silvia mine.
- The natural way of eliminating fleas and ticks on pets
The diatom’s porous nature dehydrates the fleas. Because of the diatom’s nature diatomaceous earth needs to be dry while it’s in contact with the fleas to be effective.
Directions for Use:
Diatomaceous Earth is applied directly to your pet’s coat and surroundings. This is safe for dogs or cats, even if it eats some it can act as an internal detox and natural dewormer.
DE can also be used as a repellent as well if you dust your pets after playing in an area that is prone to harbour fleas.
Focus your efforts on your pet’s bedding and other areas they visit frequently. The more exposure the fleas have to DErt Control the faster you will see results. Other good areas to target include the kennel, food bowls and any outdoor areas, that your pets spend a good amount of time in.
For the best effect:
Once a dog or cat pick up fleas, it can be difficult to get rid of the infestation with natural flea remedies. A dog or cat will bring fleas into the home causing fleas and eggs to fall on the carpet, pet bed, and furniture. Wherever fleas land they can breed, so it’s important to think they can be everywhere.
Diatomaceous earth must remain in contact with the fleas to continue working effectively. The diatom’s porous nature dehydrates the flea. Because of the diatom’s nature, diatomaceous earth needs to be dry while it’s in contact with the fleas to be effective.
Keep your pet’s skin moisturised.
If your dog has a sensitive and/or dry skin it is recommended to supplement their diet with an edible oil such as our Hemp seed oil. After about 2 or 3 days you’ll want to bathe your dog. It’s recommended not to bathe dogs more than once a month, since it dries out their skin. It is best to use a soap-free or moisturising shampoo. Afterwards, comb through your dog’s fur with a flea comb to help rid your dog of dead fleas.
Have patience with the process
You should treat your dog’s environment with diatomaceous earth twice a week, leaving it on for about 1 to 3 days. Repeat this process for 2 to 3 weeks. Diatomaceous earth is not a quick fix. It will take time for the flea to come into contact with the diatomaceous earth, and about 48 hours to dehydrate the flea it has come in contact with. The process may take up to three weeks, but it’s efficient, all natural, and dog friendly.
There is no wrong way to apply diatomaceous earth; it just needs to come into contact with the insect to work.
Helpful tips and warnings
Keep in mind diatomaceous earth may dry out your dog’s skin. It’s important to take the necessary steps to prevent or counteract the effects of dry skin. Hemp oils are a great option.
Be sure to treat your pet’s regular hangouts as well.
If you have breathing problems like asthma you may want to use a dust mask while applying.
It’s recommended to treat your dog on a monthly basis as a preventative measure.
Fleas must come into contact with the diatomaceous earth to work effectively.

Seresto Flea and Tick Collar for Dogs under 8kg provides 8 months continuous protection for dogs from fleas and 4 months from ticks in one easy application. Seresto also protects your dog against lice.
The active ingredients in Seresto are specially formulated for steady, dose-adjusted release that spreads over your dog, remaining in the fatty layer of the skin and coat, where they are effective against fleas and ticks all season long. Best of all, fleas don't have to bite your dog to be affected, so your pet suffers less of those painful flea bites. It also effectively repels and kills ticks, preventing them from attaching and feeding from your dog.
The top 5 benefits of Seresto:
- Fast relief from painful bites from fleas and ticks: * Protects your pet against fleas immediately after collar application * Protects your pet against ticks within 48 hours after application * Imidacloprid kills fleas on contact - they don't have to bite * Flumethrin ensures that ticks are repelled and killed
- Long-lasting and easy to use: * 8 months of continuous protection against fleas * 4 months continuos protection against ticks * No need to remember monthly dosing with spot on products * Simply unroll the collar, trim away the connector tabs, fit the collar so there is space for two fingers between the neck and the collar and trim away the excess
Safe to use in puppies 7 weeks of age and older.
Active Constituents: 100mg/g Imidacloprid, 45mg/g Flumethrin

Dilute before use. Make up freshly before use.

Avoid contact with pets eyes. Allow animal to dry naturally. Puppies and kittens should be towelled dry to prevent chilling. For best results do not rinse off. The suggested treatment for continuous paralysis tick control is to rinse the animal according to label direction once every 3 days.
Zone control: To aid the control of flea infestations, bedding should be changed or sprayed with this product when diluted and allowed to dry. Areas frequented by the pet should also be treated with this product (when diluted) when necessary.
For ornamental cage birds: Mix 2mL of concentrate with 200mL water and use this solution in a clean pump spray. Adjust spray to fine, and spray bird lightly all over ruffling the feathers to allow spray to penetrate to skin. Avoid contact with pets eye.
