API BOTTOM FEEDER PELLETS WITH SQUID are designed specifically for bottom feeding fish, and contains a unique, nutritionally-enhanced protein to ensure easy uptake of nutrients for maximum absorption. Fish more readily use the nutrients in our high-quality formula, and as a result, release up to 30% less ammonia than the leading competitor for cleaner, clearer water.

Ocean Nutrition Formula 2 Marine Pellet is a perfectly soft and moist pellet packed in nitrogen flushed foil bags for maximum freshness. Main characteristics are increased palatability and easy digestion. Contains garlic to improve disease resistance, Spirulina, kelp, shrimp, plankton, and squid. This food is intended for herbivorous and omnivorous fish.

Comes in small (+/- 1.2mm) and medium (+/- 3.1mm) pellets. Use the medium size for the larger fish from 10 cm onwards.

Formula Two is green and is for fish with rather lower protein needs.

Feed one to three times daily. Do not feed more than can be eaten within a few minutes.

The foil pouch keeps oxygen out for maximum freshness. Once the inner foil bag is opened, keep lid tightly shut.

When it comes to air pumps, being quiet is important, that's why the Bubbilo pumps have extended rubber feet to help absorb more vibration, and reduce the noise further.

Reconstitute RO is a high quality, multi-component, broad spectrum mixture of all mineral ions including General Hardness (GH), alkalinity (KH) and all major, minor and trace minerals required for optimum health and longevity of freshwater fish, invertebrates and plants. When mixed with filtered water prepared by reverse osmosis, distillation, or deionization, it will convert those filtered waters into a natural environment in which all aquarium inhabitants will thrive. It has been used to raise discus and other freshwater fish, as well as keep whole systems in breeder, public and home aquariums.

Reconstituting reverse osmosis, deionized or distilled water ensures complete user control over aquarium water parameters. Treating purified water with Reconstitute RO allows the user to customize hardness and alkalinity for the type of fish you’re keeping. This is especially important when keeping and breeding sensitive or expensive species such as discus or wild caught fish. Using reconstituted purified water will also help solve many aquarium keeping water quality issues and prevent the entry of unwanted nutrients such as phosphates that are prevalent in public water supplies.

This product may also be used to reconstitute/remineralise filtered rainwater and is particularly useful where there are no other water sources available for maintaining your aquarium such as in rural areas that dont have access to a town water source. Rainwater tends to be similar to reverse osmosis water in that is is missing most dissolved minerals and is thus very soft with low GH and KH and is quite acidic (approx 5.5-6). In all cases you should know your water parameters and have suitable test kits on hand.

Ocean Nutrition Cichlid Vegi Flakes is scientifically formulated for the more herbivorous cichlids from the African Great Rift Lakes and other herbivorous freshwater fish. African cichlids can be prone to 'malawi-bloat' so the main challenge here was to make a flake with the appropriate protein content, rich in vitamins and lots of plant matter. These fish are what one calls 'grazers' hence the all important role of Spirulina in this formula.
