Omega 3 & 6 Plus 9 is an essential fatty acid (EFA) dietary supplement that provides the appropriate ratio of omega 3, 6 and 9 necessary to promote a healthy coat and skin. A deficiency of EFA is a frequent cause of lustreless coat.
Why does your pet need omega 3, 6 and 9? If there is too much omega 6 in the diet, it will suppress the absorption of omega 3. Omega 9 oils, however, will dilute the omega 6, and thereby limit the effects of excessive inflammatory responses whilst restoring the ratio of omega 3 to omega 6. You need all 3 omega oils to be effective.

Dosage: 1mL per 7kg bodyweight per day, or as directed by your veterinarian, to be administered orally.

It was suggested many years ago by my vet to use this oil on my dogs’ food. This brand is excellent, easy to use, economical and has made the black coat on my new old greyhound super shiny. She’s dazzling! In fact, I recommended it to a friend with a very itchy Newfoundland and within weeks her coat and itchies have improved. Her coat feels softer and is more glossy.
I’m never without it. When I’m preparing the food bowl, I put kibble in first, then the required squirts of oil, I swish it around and leave for awhile. Then I add the rest of the meal and mix well with a little hot water. Never a problem as the oil is super tasty - and the bowl is licked clean in a flash!
My dogs coat is a lot shinier and she has stopped chewing her feet by 75 o/o I am quite pleased with the results

Great product our German shepherd shows improvement instantly. Good value for money and fast delivery.
Our pugs are definitely showing improvement in their coats with this product. Easy to place in their food. The pump is a bit faulty as it leaks down the bottle, which is the only improvement that could be made - the pump dispenser. Other than that - great product - good value compared with other similar products. Our pugs don't even notice that we put it in their food. The 3 oils are essential to work together and help them as they age.
finally found something that works and is cheap, my dog has reduced her foot licking and her paws are getting softer already
Great product, but a pity no accurate dropper is supplied to dose 0.4mls for a Chihuahua. I use a syringe but this is very messy.
This product is excellent as it makes our dogs fur shiny and soft. It seems to support their joints as they get older.
My Maggie is one of the most fussy cats, and I was truly surprised that she actually loves it in her food. I have already noticed an improvement, her coat is shiny and a lot more hydrated. I am extremely happy with my cat and also Omega 3 & 6 Plus 9.
Better value than many of the other Omega oils available if purchased in the 1L size. Unfortunately the dose measuring dropper only comes with the small size bottle.
Great value, you could pay $s more for a less effective product. Discussed the need for the addition of omega 9 with my vet, and he agreed with the role this plays in absorption.
Works great for dogs with allergies and itchy skin. Dog doesn't even notice it in the food!
This product has helped return the shin and dryness of my little Westie x Poodles skin allergy. He is not scratching as much as the oils are returning to his skin/coat.
I have always used this product and found it to enhance my dog's coat, people are always telling me how nice and shinny they look.
Only 2 weeks of use so hard to say how effective this stuff is. The good thing is that our doesn't mind it in his food. I bought the 1 lire bottle so no dispenser but then it is sold a a "refill".
After spending more than $700 at the vet over the past 2yrs to try and rid my poor border collie of a persistent rash, I have found the answer! I have been using the Omega 3, 6, 9 for the past month and all her skin is a beautiful pink with no rash in sight and her coat is thick and shiny. Very happy
I am not sure whether to buy 250ml or 1litre as it is only for a small 9kg dog.
As a 1litre bottle would last 1 1/2 to 2 years, would it deteriorate over that period or does it have a longer life?

We would recommend purchasing the smaller quantity. Oils begin to oxidise when exposed to the air so keeping an open bottle for a couple of years would be supplying a lesser quality dose as time goes on.
Is the Omega 3 & 6 good to treat my dog for a grass allergy which causes itchy weeping skin around her paws

It sounds like your dog has a pretty significant allergy happening there. Yes Omega's 3, 6 and 9 (and this product) are good for helping skin allergies. Although they may not be enough to cure the condition and a vet may need to be consulted.
