Exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage (EIPH):
After a horse has suffered a bleeding episode, spell the horse in a paddock for at least 8 to 12 weeks.
While the horse is spelling, commence feeding PulmonAID at 60g (2 level scoops) per 500kg bodyweight per day.

Four days prior to a race or strenuous workout, increase the dosage to 120g (4 level scoops) per 500kg bodyweight per day, ensuring you comply with all relevant rules of the competition.

What is BiotinMAX CONCENTRATE?

BiotinMAX CONCENTRATE is an ultra-concentrated biotin supplement to support horses with poor hoof quality.

How does BiotinMAX CONCENTRATE work?

Biotin is a B vitamin essential for many functions in a horse’s body, including metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, cell proliferation, normal thyroid and adrenal gland function, reproductive tract health, and nervous system stability. Biotin contains sulphur, an element required for the formation of the reinforcing bonds between strands of collagen, and therefore plays a role in maintaining the health of the skin and hooves.

iO Epsom salts, or magnesium sulphate, is becoming an increasingly common supplement and is also known as a laxative for horses.
It’s also known to reduce equine obesity, and can lessen the risk of laminitis in animals prone to it during periods of strong spring grass growth.


Magnesium plays an important role in nerve and muscle function, and horses deficient in this important element can show signs of nervousness, wariness, excitability, and muscle tremors.

Controls & Prevents: iO Epsom salts can also be used to ease joint pain in a horse. Soak its legs in a bucket of warm water to which you have added one cup of magnesium sulphate. This will help reduce the appearance of windgalls and the inflammation around a strained tendon or ligament. Older, arthritic horses will benefit from a 25-minute leg soak.

Does your horse suffer from dandruff? 
Try an iO Epsom salts scrub. Mix handfuls of Epsom salts with a small amount of water and gently massage your horse in circular motions, then rinse off. This will leave its body feeling soft and the blood flow will be temporarily increased in the areas massaged. This will flush toxins and bring nutrients with the new blood flow.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Administer Nutrimol at the recommended rates and timings. Rates are based on an average sized animal. Where a significantly larger or smaller animal is to be treated, administer on a pro-rata weight to dose basis.

For general use, where daily rates are not practical, administer fortnightly to improve animal health and monthly to maintain animal condition.

For more specific uses, administer Nutrimol to young animals during periods of rapid growth and/or physical stress. Likewise, with older stock, use Nutrimol at important reproductive or production stages of the year and for times of physical stress when adequate mineral intake is vital.

Nutrimol can be drenched, added to drinking water (trough systems) or poured over feed. Introduce Nutrimol to stock gradually.

When adding to a water trough, leave the water source turned on so that the Nutrimol dilutes with time. Add more Nutrimol when the required time interval has passed.

Nutrimol will be of assistance when used in programs aimed at:

*Alleviating vitamin and mineral deficiencies, especially magnesium, iodine, selenium, copper and zinc.

*Increasing resistance to certain diseases, promoting better utilisation of feed.
