Virbac Equimax is a broad-spectrum horse worming paste that is up to 100% effective in treating all major parasites in horses including:

COMPOSITION:
Each Equimax 35mL syringe contains:

Abamectin : 4 mg/g
Praziquantel: 50 mg/g

Treatment of mares and foals

Equimax is safe to use in pregnant and lactating mares as well as young foals. Pregnant mares should be treated as normal during their pregnancy taking care not to stress them during treatment. Mares should be wormed two weeks prior to their expected foaling date. Once a mare has foaled the mare and foal should both be wormed starting from when the foal is six weeks old. Young horses need to be treated differently to older horses because they are at risk of mectin resistant ascarids. Ascarids appear to be the worm developing resistance to mectins. Generally ascarids are not found in horses over two years of age as horses seem to develop a natural immunity to these worms as they mature. Horses under two should be wormed every six weeks with Equimax Elevation. Once a horse turns two they should be then put on the Equimax/Strategy-T rotation program, however Equimax Elevation is safe to use in horses of all ages if you wish to.

DOSAGE:

Dose at 1mL per 20kg bodyweight (5mL per 100kg).
Each syringe of Equimax treats a horse up to 700kg.

All horses should be wormed at least once every 3 months regardless of the conditions in which they are kept. All horses on a property should be wormed at the same time. New horses should be quarantined & wormed before coming onto the property. If you are unsure about what drenching interval is right for your situation please consult your vet.

Part the hair on the back of the animal in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
Unscrew the cap and turn it over. Use the spike on the top of the cap to puncture the seal on the tube.
Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze to empty the entire contents onto the skin in one spot.
Do not massage Evicto into the skin.

PRECAUTIONS:

Avoid contact between the product and the fingers. Keep away from the eyes.
Do not apply when the coat is wet.

STORAGE: Store below 30°C (room temperature) in the original sachet.

HUMIDIMIX will replace salts lost due to heavy sweating and will aid in the treatment of alkalosis and hypochloraemia in horses. It may also be used as supportive therapy in the treatment of dehydration if given with water.

WHAT IS HUMIDIMIX®?

HUMIDIMIX is a specially formulated supplement that contains high levels of potassium, chloride and magnesium to encourage drinking and help with:

Replacing essential electrolytes
Horses recovering from sweat loss due to heat, humidity and intense or prolonged exercise.

The powdered supplement can be added to feed or given in water.

RECOMMENDED FOR

High performance horses doing moderate speed work over extended periods (e.g. harness, racing, endurance, eventing, dressage, stock work)
Heavy sweaters
Horses working in hot and humid conditions
Horse prone to ‘tying up’ or ‘anhidrosis’ (dry coat or non-sweating disease)

DOSAGE & DIRECTIONS FOR USE

45 g Daily Dose - provided as 22.5 g in morning and 22.5 g in evening feed. Can be mixed in drinking water at a rate of 45 g / 25 L water or given as a saline drench at 90 g / 4 L water. Increase dose as required to treat (hypochloraemic) alkalosis.

Ensure an adequate supply of clean drinking water is available when supplementing with electrolytes
Do not combine with other daily electrolyte supplements
May be beneficial to use in conjunction with RECHARGE or NEUTRADEX

Puppies and Kittens (and small Rabbits) (Up to 2.5kgs): 15mg selamectin

DOSAGE & DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Apply tube(s) topically to the skin at the recommended minimum dose of 6mg selamectin/kg of body weight once per month. This product is for single use treatment of rabbits.
Part the hair on the back of the animal in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
Unscrew the cap and turn it over. Use the spike on the top of the cap to puncture the seal on the tube.
Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze to empty the entire contents onto the skin in one spot.
Do not massage Evicto into the skin.

PRECAUTIONS:

Avoid contact between the product and the fingers. Keep away from the eyes.
Do not apply when the coat is wet.

STORAGE:
Store below 30°C (room temperature) in the original sachet.

COMPOSITION

40 mg Praziquantel
16 mg Milbemycin Oxime

DOSAGE & DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Animals should be weighed to ensure accurate dosing.
MILPRO Tablets should be administered orally, either with or after food.
Half tablets may be kept for use in the original blister for up to six months after the first half was used.
When administering Milpro Tablets, be certain that the entire dose is consumed. Watch for several minutes following treatment to be sure that the entire dose has been eaten. lf the entire dose is not eaten, redose as soon as possible, with the full dose.
Fleas are intermediate hosts for tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum). Effective flea control will reduce the incidence of tapeworm.
If worm problems persist, consult a veterinarian.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Precautions

Caution should be taken in the case of concurrent use of the product and other macrocyclic lactones.
