Equimax Elevation offers 3 way action for complete protection. There is no horse wormer on the market quite like Equimax Elevation. A unique formulation of three active ingredients designed to combat mectin resistance, Equimax Elevation is particularly suitable for worming young horses from 6 weeks to 24 months.

That's because young horses need special protection from potentially mectin resistant ascarids, a problem worm in horses under two years old. Ascarids can build up to life threatening numbers in a short time, causing severe blockages in a young horses comparatively smaller intestinal tract or permanently damaging their developing lungs. Equimax Elevation completely protects young horses from ascarids, as well as all other worms.

INDICATIONS:
Equimax Elevation is a broad-spectrum worming paste that is up to 100% effective in treating all major internal parasites in horses including:

• Large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, Strongylus edentatus,Strongylus equinus and Triodontophorus spp.)

• Cutaneous larvae (summer sores) Onchocerca spp. Microfilariae

Ultimum is a broad spectrum and long-acting horse wormer and boticide gel which contains the active ingredients moxidectin and praziquantel.

Ultimum is indicated for the control of tapeworm and all important susceptible strains of gastrointestinal roundworms, including adult and encysted stages (DL, LL3, EL4) and benzimidazoleresistant strains of small strongyles, and aids in control of early encysted stages (EL3), including inhibited larvae.

When used as directed, Ultimum is safe in foals over 4 weeks of age and in all breeding stock, including stallions and pregnant mares.

• Ultimum is a palatable and effective gel.
• Developed and made in Australia.
• Treats horses up to 700 kg.

Why Choose Ultimum?
TIMELY - Ultimum is recommended for horses with a suspected large burden of encysted small strongyles (roundworms) typically in late Autumn or early Spring. It is also recommended for new horses arriving on a property with an unknown worming history.
TARGETED - Ultimum is the ideal wormer for young and adult horses with a suspected large burden of encysted small strongyles. It is also recommended for new horses arriving on a property with an unknown worming history.
POWERFUL - Ultimum contains moxidectin, a powerful and persistent second-generation ‘mectin’. When administered as part of Virbac’s Gold Standard strategic worming program, ULTIMUM provides horses effective and sustainable worm control in conjunction with EQUIMAX, EQUIMAX ELEVATION and STRATEGY-T. The Egg Reappearance Period (ERP) for ULTIMUM is at least 14 weeks, which means that recontamination of the pasture by strongyle eggs is significantly reduced during this period. It is important to note that resistance may develop to any chemical.
PALATABLE - Ultimum is an oral gel and easy to administer.
AUSTRALIAN - Developed and made in Australia specifically for Australian conditions.

Recommended for:
Yearling to Adult Horses: Ultimum may be recommended for horses with a suspected large burden of encysted small strongyle larvae.
High Shedders: Treatment with Ultimum may be recommended for horses with repeated high faecal egg counts and suspected large burden of small strongyles.
Quarantined / New Horses: Ultimum is recommended for new horses arriving on a property with an unknown worming history. Horses that are below 2 years of age should be given 2 separate worming products i.e. Ultimum and Strategy-T, but for horses over 2 years of age treat with Ultimum or as recommended by your veterinarian.

COMPOSITION:
Moxidectin 20mg/mL
Praziquantel 125mg/mL

SIZES:
14.4 g single syringe
Stable pail containing 50 tubes

How often should I use Ultimum?
Ultimum is a long-acting wormer and should be used as part of a strategic worming program rather than at regular intervals. It provides an extended egg reappearance period of at least 14 weeks, and for most adult horses is typically used once per year, often timed in late autumn or early spring, or when faecal egg counts or veterinary advice indicate it is needed.

During exercise, lactic acid and free radicals build up in the muscles, and if not neutralised and removed can lead to cramping, stiffness, fatigue and slow recovery. Lactic acid build-up is also one of the factors which contributes to "tying-up"syndrome.

NEUTRADEX is formulated to combat the effects of acidosis and dehydration particularly after fast work. NEUTRADEX also encourages horses to drink, increasing the action of the kidneys in clearing toxic wastes produced by hard exercise.

Beneficial for:
- Horses in hard training.
- Preventing muscle soreness after fast work.
- Horses with a history of "tying-up".
- Preventing dehydration.

Why use Neutradex?
- Active ingredient Citrate gets right into the muscle cells to buffer acid build up.
- The Sodium in Neutradex stimulates the thirst to encourage drinking and flushing of toxins from the body.

NEUTRADEX is a caramel flavoured syrup available in 1L bottles & 5L casks

10% of horses in training have broken away feet. Scientific studies have shown that Biotin, fed in conjunction with calcium promotes hoof wall and sole growth and strengthens weak shelly hooves.

In CAL-PLUS with BIOTIN, Vetsearch has combined the bone-building calcium, trace minerals and vitamin co-factors found in traditional CAL-PLUS, with the B-Complex vitamin BIOTIN, to assist horses with brittle, cracked, shelly or broken hooves.

Beneficial for:

• Brittle, cracked or shelly hooves.
• White crumbly hooves.
• Slow growing hooves.
• Maintaining bone strength and density.

Why use Cal-Plus with Biotin?

• Works on the inside and the outside of the hoof to improve hoof condition while maintaining strong bone, joint and muscle structures.
• A hoof and bone food in one supplement!

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

A daily intake of Cal-plus with Biotin will help ensure the development and maintenance of a strong and sound musculo-skeletal system, including the hoof. Horses on high grain/bran diets, or those grazing tropical pastures, should receive the recommended dose of Cal-plus with Biotin each day to help ensure an optimum calcium:phosphorus ration to maintain strong healthy bones, ligaments and tendons.

DOSAGE Note: It is preferable not to mix any calcium into wet bran mixtures. One level scoop contains 30g of Cal-plus with Biotin. The recemmended dose rates have been calculated to satisfy the calcium requirements based on common diets and activity. However, a veterinarian may prescribe amounts in excess of those recommended to horses with skeletal or hoof abnormalities. Horses with poor hooves should receive adequate levels of protein in their diets to provide essential amino acids, which in conjunction with a daily intake of Cal-plus with Biotin will assist in improving hoof structure.

During intense training and hard exercise, harmful “free radicals” can build up in the muscle and tissue cells. “Free radicals” are unstable molecules that are capable of damaging tissues in the body. WHITE-E acts as a natural anti-oxidant to prevent ‘free radicals’ from building up.
• Supports performance horses – Vitamin E is an antioxidant capable of mopping up dangerous free radicals produced during exercise and can support horses prone to tying up, muscle stiffness and fatigue for improved stamina.
• Strengthens immune systems – Vitamin E supplementation can stimulate and strengthen the immune response in performance horses.
• Suitable for breeding and pregnant horses – Vitamin E supplementation improves reproductive function in mares and stallions. When used during pregnancy, WHITE-E may prevent white muscle disease of foals.
• Naturally derived Vitamin E.
The Vitamin E in WHITE-E has better absorption into the body and a longer effect than synthetic Vitamin E. WHITE-E will also help with the function and strengthening of the immune system, as well as improving fertility in bitches and in male dogs. Greyhounds deficient in Vitamin E will show signs of muscle weakness, lack of stamina, lowered fertility in both bitches and male dogs, reduced immune response to infections, skin disorders and heart muscle degeneration.
