About this item

Cetrigen is a distinctly / brightly coloured antibacterial wound spray formulated for the treatment of superficial cuts and wounds in all animals.

Cetrigen assists in drying the wound, thus aiding the natural healing process and decreasing the attractive nature of the wound for the flies.

Cetrimide is an effective anti-bacterial agent, thereby aiding in the prevention of infection.

Cetrigen also contains insect repellants to prevent insects and maggots being attracted to the area and irritating the horse and wound further.

Active Constituents:
Cetrimide 0.1g/100g (0.1%),
Di-N-Propylisoncinchomeronate,
Diethyl Toluamide BP.

Directions For Use: Spray a light layer directly onto wound. Clean any run off away.

Precautions: To prevent any irritation use as directed. Discontinue use if skin irritation occurs.

We use this on our rottweiler who had an infected bite mark. We live 2 hours from the nearest vet an needed a solution fast. A friend gave us this can and it worked a treat. The bite mark dried up and within a week the wound had healed. So glad I know about this stff...we now have it on hand all the time.

Used it for years. Recently used on healing hematoma ear and scratches of Maine Coone cat. Dried wounds up overnight and with the purple colour you can see you have it covered and he looks pretty too :).

Can cetrigen be licked safty by dogs. He seems to want to lick it off all the time

Small quantities should not cause any harm, however it is not ideal. It is recommended to stop the dog licking the cetrigen. The dog may need to wear an elizabethan collar or bandage so it can't physically get to the area.
