About this item

The soft and comfortable Buster Ear Covers provide both post-surgical protection as well as general head and ear protection. It can be used in the case of aural haematoma, cuts or tears and chronic itching or scratching.

The Buster  Ear Cover is strong, yet also features a soft neoprene fabric, with integrated flexible plastic spines for optimal fit. An additional hole can be cut in the easy-to-cut non-fraying fabric in order to accommodate and free the healthy ear flaps.

Poor product

I Ordered the 2xl according to the size chart as my dog's head was slightly larger than the 2xl (largest size). My dog has been fly bitten ears so wanted a sturdy cover to keep his ears protected. I fitted the buster ear cover and within 2 minutes he had got his ears out. As soon as he shakes his head, the cover slides around, so it's either too loose, or not stiff enough to stay in place. It was a total waste of $76.

Hi, I’m after some ear protection for my Jack Russell who is prone to getting grass seeds in his ears during summer he is a very energetic dog would this suit him? Thanks

Hi Deb,
Thank you for the question. Yes I believe this will be a good option to provide protection for your dog from grass seeds in the ears. Just keep in mind that he probably shouldn't have it on all the time and you do need to still check the ears daily not only for grass seeds but also for ticks, or other injuries or issues.

Hopefully he will tolerate wearing it and it will reduce the grass seed issues.

You will need to Measure your dog around the forehead and neck and you will need the length measurement from forehead to neck.
