this product workes for us and stops the cats from scratching the furniture,
Have had trouble with our neutered 1-yr old male cat spraying in multiple locations inside all rooms of the house. This seems to be an insecurity issue around our 10-yr old female cat, who does not like him. The spray didn't seem to make any difference, but that could be due to the fact that there was such a large area to deal with and just too many spots to treat daily with such a small bottle. It's still rather stressful as we deal with the situation by having to keep all internal doors shut and confining him to one room. If he escapes into another room, he immediately backs up to any furniture, vertical surface or other object and sprays. Would really appreciate some advice here! How effective is the spray diffuser, and would I need one for every room?
This product doesn't have an a bad smell, the cats don't mind it and it is fantastic for use within the cat/kitten animal rescue.
FELIWAY SPRAY IS THE ONLY PRODUCT THAT WE HAVE USED THAT STOPS OUR CATS FROM SCRATCHING THE LOUNGE ROOM COUCH AND CHAIRS.THEY AT LONG LAST USE THE SCRATCHING POLE AND LEAVE THE FURNITURE ALONE
Cat owners should note; you must clean the urine with Biozet (washing powder) in water first. It contains an agent that neutralizes urine odour. Otherwise your cat will still smell urine & spray there. I put it in a watering can to clean off outside doors that ferrals/neighbours cats spray. You have to keep it up too. Cleaning and spraying Feliway &/or plug-ins. It's not cheap but worth your furniture & your sanity!
