About this item

An effective, easy to use preparation, for general use on horses and dogs. The antiseptic aids body healing by preventing the development of infection and sepsis. The cream prevents wounds from drying out, further aiding the healing process. The insecticides in Septicide repel and kill insects, making it ideal for dog’s ears and minor cuts on dogs and horses where fly strike may be a problem.

Excellent product

I have used Septicide successfully many times over the years on my horses and dogs. I find it extremely effective in healing nasty open wounds. One wound became fly blown, the maggots absolutely hated Septicide and couldn't get out of the wound fast enough. Along with antibiotics the wound halved in size within 12hrs. The only downside is the yellow stain though I prefer this as you can see where the product needs to be reapplied.

great product would recommend it

it is easy to use and very effective no horse first aid kit should b without it.i use it daily and the difference it has made is amazing.it does leave a yellow colour on the wound but that does not effect the healing process.

Works great on Macropods and dingos except it does stain. Not a good look for the public to see but it does keep the flys away

Septicide Antiseptic Cream with Insecticide 100g

good stuff but will stain, if they could take the yellow out of it would be better, our dogs inside, so if you have outdoor animals it would be fine.

Customer

Can I use septicide around my dog’s eyes

vet-n-pet DIRECT

Hi Kay

Thank you for your Question.
I would not use around your dogs eyes.
As per the Safety directions:
May irritate the eyes. Avoid contact with the eyes. Wash hand after use.
I hope that helps.

Cheers

Lisa
